For the past two years, our existing customers have been asking for us to expand our ability to provide them with a wider range of offerings. They asked, and we listened!
Introducting
BREEZA FAB. Our new business segment, also located in
Utica, features a massive OMAX waterjet cutting machine
that pumps water to 60,000 psi resulting in an abrasive jet of sand and
water exiting the mixing tube at roughly the speed of sound. We can cut
hard materials such as titanium up to ten inches thick!
The machine
allows complex cutting of virtually any material such as hardened tool
steel, aluminum and titanium; exotics including carbon fibre, ceramic,
Inconel and composites; or architectural materials such as marble,
granite, glass, tile and stone. Tolerance and accuracy is within
+/-.003 inches and waterjet cutting leaves no burrs or Heat Affected
Zone (HAZ). In addition we have installed a new DURMA press break.
This massive unit features multi-axis with the capcity to handle nearly
50 tons of material at a time, making bending, shaping and shearing huge
jobs a snap. (no pun intended).
